Parc de l´Espanya Industrial

Barcelona has a lot of beautiful parks with amazing vegetation, buildings, houses, flowers and trees. Another one of these parks is Parc de L´Espanya Industrial. It is located near to the metro and train station Estació Sants and is a perfect place to rest and just enjoy before catching the train and continue the travel.

The area that the park is situated on used to be an industrial area, therefore the name,
and was rebuilt in 1985 by the two architects Luís Peña Ganchegui and Francesc Rius. An
artificial small lake has been constructed in the park together with much green and
beautiful vegetation. The park is mostly famous for its lighthouses around the lake,
ehich are lighten up during night giving a splendid environment to it.
