Mojito

Previously mentioned, horchata and sangria are two drinks very common in Spain and a partof the Spanish culture. Yet, another drink that has to be tasted, is the Mojito. It is
an incredibly fresh drink that you can find in almost every bar and restaurant. The Mojito
is said to be founded in Cuba and has the base of rum, sugar, mint, and sparkling water.
Today you can find different variations of the drink, giving you the opportunity to
taste mojito with different flavors such as raspberry.
How to make a mojito:
Ingredients
- Light rum
- Lime
- sugar
- Mint
- Soda water
For one drink you need
- 2-3 oz Light rum (1 oz = 28.3 ml)
- Juice of 1 lime
- 2 tsp sugar
- 2-4 mint sprigs
- Soda water
Instructions
Lightly muddle the mint and sugar, including a splash of soda water in a mixing glass.
Muddle it until the sugar dissolve and you can smell the mint. Continue with squeezing the
lime into the glass. Add rum and shake it with ice. Put it over in a highball glass and
pour cracked ice over it. Finally add a little soda water, garnish it with mint sprig.
Your mojito is now ready to be served!
