Gazpacho

GazpachoBeing interested in acquiring culinary experiences, Barcelona and Spain is a perfect place to come. You can have paella, tapas, drink a glass of the traditional drink cava or sangria and enjoy the nice breezes on the terrasses of the restaurants.

Another dish that has to be a part of your culinary tastings is the Gazpacho. The origin
of the dish is not quite certain, some say it was the Moors from the Arabic countries
that introduced the dish in Spain, and others believe that it was created by the
Romans in Italy. In Spain, the origin of the Gazpacho is found as an important part
of the Andalusian cuisine, although, the dish has now been spread worldwide and can be
enjoyed in restaurants or easily cooked by yourself.

The typical Gazpacho of Andalusia includes stale bread, cucumber, tomato, bell pepper,
garlic, olive oil, vinegar of wine and salt. Many variations can be made to this dish,
depending on your personal preferences, but the base of the Gazpacho is always tomatoes. It is a cold soup so it is the perfect dish for the hot summerdays.
