One thing definetely worth mentioning is one of the worlds best restaurants, El Bulli,
located outside of Barcelona. The restaurant was voted by the Restaurant Magazine to be
the world´s best restaurant, now for the fourth year in a row. Except from this, El Bulli
has also three michelin stars and has won several different awards during the years.

Fernando Adria Acosta, or Ferran Adria which he is more known as, became head chef of the
restaurant after only 18 months of working at El Bulli. After his promotion, Ferran has
managed to bring international recognition to the restaurant.

The dishes are of many different kinds where a mix of Catalan and international cuisine
are combined to form incredible platters for its diners. The timetables of El Bulli is
quite different from other restaurants. It is only open April to October, and because of
its popularity, the restaurant is mostly booked up one year in advance.
