This restaurant is a very unique and incredible place to visit and eat in. It is the first Ethiopian restaurant in Spain and it does really well in communicating and introducing the culture and cuisine from this rarely known African country. It is located in the Gracia district of Barcelona that is known for its multicultural atmosphere anyway and therefore the Abissinia fits right in there.
The décor and the entire interior of the Abissinia restaurant stay true to its origin with colourful and original tables and small chairs to sit on. If you are going to eat there it is guaranteed that you are having a unique and unforgettable experience that might want to repeat soon.
The food is very traditional and different from what we know in Europe and offers a lot of variety to choose from especially for vegetarians. The price quality relation is excellent as you can get a really good meal including a dessert for a price of 13€-16€ per person.
